Tooltip Settings
The tooltip is a popup information box that appears when a user hovers over a data point, showing its exact value. It is configured in the General Design step for Cartesian and Circular chart types.
How to Access
- Navigate to the General Design step in the wizard.
- Find the Tooltip section.
- Enable the Show Tooltip option.
Parameters
| Field | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Show Tooltip | Enables or disables the tooltip. | On |
| Background Color | Background color of the tooltip box. | — |

Tips
- If you don't want to disable the tooltip but need to save screen space, consider using the Trackball feature (Cartesian only) — Trackball locks to the nearest data point during mouse movement and provides more precise readings.
- A dark background with light text makes the tooltip readable against any chart background.
