2. Chart Type Selection — Static Text
In the second step you select Static Text from the 2 chart types in the Text group. This selection skips Steps 3 (Compass Record), 4 (Data Configuration), 5, and 6 — the wizard proceeds directly to Step 7.

3. Select Static Text
Click the Static Text card. The card is highlighted with a bold green border.
Click the Next button at the top right.
Proceeding Without Selecting a Type
If no type is selected, Next gives a warning.
Dynamic Text Is a Different Flow
Dynamic Text is fed from a Compass record. → Dynamic Text Flow
Skipped Steps
When Static Text is selected, the wizard skips 3. Compass Record, 4. Data Configuration, 5. Series Design, 6. Add Series and goes directly to 7. General Design.
