Wizard route: /cartography/add/selectchart

Prerequisite

The Cartesian group must be selected in step 1.

2. Stacked Cartesian Types (7 charts)

Chart Type Typical Use Y Axis Display
Stacked Area Series Stacked area trend Absolute value
Stacked Line Series Stacked line trend Absolute value
Stacked Column Series Shift/category breakdown Absolute value
Stacked Bar Series Horizontal stacked, long category name Absolute value
Stacked Column 100 Series 100% normalized vertical bar 0-100 (automatic)
Stacked Bar 100 Series 100% normalized horizontal bar 0-100 (automatic)
Stacked Line 100 Series 100% normalized line (trend share) 0-100 (automatic)

Absolute vs 100%

  • Absolute Stacked: When you want to see the actual value of each component and the total (e.g., daily total production + product breakdown).
  • 100% Stacked: The total is not visible; at each point the share of components matters (e.g., how the product mix changed from day to day).

3. Confirm the Type

When a card is selected, it is highlighted with a bold green border.

Click the Next button at the top right.

Proceeding Without Type Selection

If no type is selected, Next issues a warning: "Please select a chart type first".

Types in the Wrong Flow

For non-Stacked Cartesian types there are separate flows:
