1. Group Selection — Standard Cartesian
When starting the standard Cartesian flow, you select the Cartesian group in the wizard's first step. This selection is required so that you can choose one of the Line, Area, Spline, Column, Bar, or Step Line types in the second step.
Wizard route: /cartography/add/selectgroup
Prerequisite
Log in to the Cartography module and start the wizard with Add New Widget. This route is not accessible unless the wizard has been started; if you try to navigate to it directly, you are redirected to /cartography/list.
1. Enter Cartography
Click the Cartography module in the left menu. On the list screen, click the Add New Widget button at the top right (or Create Your First Widget on an empty list).
2. Review the Group List
In the Select Group screen that opens, 6 group cards are listed sequentially on the left; on the right, the Lottie animation of the selected group plays as a preview.

3. Select Cartesian
Click the Cartesian card. The card is highlighted with a bold green border and the Lottie animation on the right switches to the Cartesian preview.

4. Confirm and Proceed
Click the Next button at the top right. The wizard advances to step 2.
Proceeding Without Group Selection
If no group is selected, the Next button issues a warning: "Please select a group first". First click the Cartesian card from the left list.
