Profile Settings

The Profile Settings tab updates the credentials of the currently logged-in user.

Access

Click the Settings icon in the left menu → select the Profile Settings tab.

UI Field Reference

Name The username shown in the UI and in notification headers Yes
E-mail The email address used to log in Yes
Current Password Confirm your current password to change the password Only if changing the password
New Password New password Only if changing the password
Confirm New Password Re-enter the new password Only if changing the password

Updating Username or Email

  1. Open Settings → Profile Settings tab.
  2. Edit the Name or E-mail field.
  3. Click Save.

Email Change

When the email is changed, the new email is required at the next login. Logging in with the old email no longer works.

Changing Password

  1. Open Settings → Profile Settings tab.
  2. Enter your current password in Current Password.
  3. Enter the new password in New Password.
  4. Re-enter the same password in Confirm New Password.
  5. Click Save.

For valid password length and complexity requirements, contact your administrator.

Limitations and Notes

Topic Description
Scope You can only update your own user info. Managing other users requires admin permission.
Current password validation Entering the current password is required to change the password.
Session continuity Updating name and email does not end the current session.
