Alert Center

Alert Center is the screen where alerts triggered by rules defined in Rule Library are listed and managed. Operators monitor active alerts here, add comments, and close them.


Alert Statuses

Status Description
🔴 Open Rule triggered, no action taken yet
🟡 Acknowledged Operator confirmed seeing the alert; under review
🟢 Closed Alert resolved or marked invalid

Alert Management

Acknowledging an Alert

  1. Click the alert in the Alert Center list.
  2. Press the Acknowledge button.
  3. Optionally add a comment.
  4. Status updates to Acknowledged.

Closing an Alert

  1. Open the details of an acknowledged alert.
  2. Press the Close button.
  3. Enter a closure reason or resolution note.
  4. Status updates to Closed.

Filtering

Alert Center filters alerts by:

Filter Options
Status Open / Acknowledged / Closed
Priority Critical / High / Medium / Low
Rule A specific Rule Library rule
Time Range Last 1 hour / 24 hours / 7 days / Custom

Tips

Dashboard for Critical Alerts

To show open critical alerts on a Horizon board with a DataGrid widget, create a Compass query bound to the alert_log table.

Alert Storm

If the condition keeps changing, the same rule can produce dozens of alerts within seconds. Configure debounce or a minimum trigger interval in Rule Library.


History and Export

Alert Center also archives closed alerts. To access historical alerts, enable the Closed option in the Status filter.

To export the list as CSV, use the Export button at the top right. The export includes all records matching the current filter criteria.

Reporting

For weekly or monthly alert reports, use the Time Range filter to select the relevant period, then export the CSV.
